Good, modest but well made Barbaresco. Tar and some licorice on the palate. Nose is stronger than the palate, but both are still pleasant. When first opened, a bit of a charred wood that lingers on the palate, although this burns off. Long finish with reasonable tannins. Traditionally made, although high ABV - 13.5%. Not too noticeable on the palate. Also, gotta love the Spinone (Italian Wire-haired Pointer) on the label!
