Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

I preferred actually the 2007 to the 2008. u thought it was more accessible. opened up faster. A bold fruit forward with forward spices like white pepper.

Solid. Very friendly with lots of interest and complexity. Rich and plush. Always a favorite!

Dark ruby. Medium-minus intensity with hints of blackberry, cherry, cranberry, and a hint of forest floor. Mouthwatering acidity that accentuates the cranberry and red cherry notes on the palate. Blackberry, bramble, and a hint of tobacco. Nice balance...not over-extracted. Could still use another 3+ years.

Classic presentation but having tasted from the release and comparing it to the 08 it never showed as well as the 08, still nice but more staid and reserved but still good

We had the 2007 Vintage on 7/18/20. What a wonderful wine. Well balanced, fruit forward, full bodied. Classic Napa floor Cab with tastes of blackberry, plum, kirsch. 13 years of aging makes a difference.

Aged well, with nice structure, relaxed tannins and a nice earthy minerality.

Better on day three.

Delicious reference point Napa cab. Drinking great now and probably will for another decade.

Not really showing any age drop off in the color. This is a nice wine. Tannins have softened but still has a little zip almost how a really fresh cigar dances on your tongue.

Good solid fruit, but not layered enough for the best vintage of decade. Lots of black and blue fruit, needs more secondary notes.
