Xisto Ilimitado Douro Red Blend

So silky, nutty, chardonnay-like. Prodigious green apple, juicy yellow plum. Mineral and textured in a distinctly Portuguese way.

Lovely! Cherry, blueberry, pomegranate, violets, touch of pepper, herbs. Bright, balanced, tannins are mostly integrated.

Serious stuff

Quite the blend I feel like if an açaí bowl, with all the fun garnishes, including flowers, was made wine, it would be this.

Normally relish the Seabra wines but this was too young and not my favorite. Dark fruit, sun dried tomato, and savory herbs but not much flesh. Better the second day and will check in again in a year or two

Nice for something outside of our wheelhouse; one review I read said it is a Rhone red from the Iberian peninsula and I thought that was a good way of describing it. Very drinkable at 12% it is bright and fresh but with the complexity of dried cherry elements

Medium Purple

Red and black berries, floral, apple-y

Dry, medium acidity, medium tannins, medium body. White pepper and red berries. Really elegant and easy to drink.

A little bit of earth, a little bit of black fruit, a little bit of salinity. Enjoyable.

Nice wine for the price, especially with a nice chill. Great restrained fruit, slightly juicy, great mouthfeel, good acid. Nice and versatile pairing wine and relatively low abv.
