Vieilles Vignes Bourgogne Chardonnay

Very good basic white burg for the price.

Sad to say this has gone bad. Not stored properly, baked. Not to say it wouldn't have been a nice wine.

47690 was stinky, 47711 is not. But, it's oxidized, thin and has no finish. It's a completely different color and like a different wine. Sad, synthetic cork with no obvious issues.

Kinda dirty in a really appealing way at $11.79/btl wholesale. 65 year old vines, full malo but not buttery, stinky

Moldy cork & a little funky but just fine after time in the glass. Fine for brown butter sage pork chops but not particularly memorable.

Subtle and tangy with peach and apricot notes.

Light oak

Baked lemon, vanilla cream, oak astringency, a solid wine

Soft velvety smooth. Great finish. Must try.
