2014v. Light gold color. Underripe green or yellow apples and yellow pear on the nose. Pear, quince, and a little lemon citrus on the palette. Faint traces of oak give a little more body to the wine but the fruit is front and center. Good shot of rounded acidity with a clean finish. A new world wine made more in the fashion of the old world. An easy sipper on its own and a good complement to food. 13.5% ABV.

I'm still figuring out Chardonnays that I like but this is a buttery Chard from Total Wine that my partner and I like a lot. It's decadent and light at the same time, perfect for the end of summer.
