California Pinot Noir

Just ok

I usually only rate good wines on this app, but every so often one encounters a wine so nasty that they have to stop traffic and let the masses know. Mark West Pinot Noir is like drinking a glass of Mark’s urine after he guzzles a gallon and a half of vinegar. Incredibly sour, quite bitter and just an overall disappointment. Could I produce better wine? Perhaps, perhaps not. But I do know that whatever I’d come up with wouldn’t leave me running for a chaser (or a toothbrush)!!

Russ: Good overall. Slightly sweet. Kim: Good, light, pleasant fruit flavor, beautiful raspberry burgundy colour

I know it’s cheap but I remember it being better. 2016 in 2018

Dry and fruity. A great smooth red wine to drink in cooler weather.
