A winner for aging as usual

Still took a couple of Hours to open up, like a good Amarone should.

Nose of blackberry licorice
Deep black fruits playing with bright red ones, subtle licorice, still very heavy in body, with the perfect tannin to acidity Ratio.
Last one in the cellar me thinks.

Raisin, fig, prune, wet hay and warm baked fruit including black cherries on the palette. Paired well with sea salt dark chocolate.

Concentrated fruit, but also solid structure. More tannins and drier then I recall from the 10 and 12 vintages, so this is a surprise. But a very pleasant one!

Very high acidity. Drink to enjoy, a wine to sip on, cigar and or a medium rare steak would be a suitable companion. Definitely a great one

Ruby red fruit. Good acid, smooth tannins. Just a great wine

Stewed plums and mocha - not bad.

High intensity red fruit (even pomegranate)

Another strong vintage

Fruit has cherry and almost raisin taste. Full bodied and nice medium plus acidity. Ready to drink.
