A lovely nose of deep currant black tea.
Currant carries on, with multi layers of dark chocolate, oil cured olives, Black tea, prune.
This is heavier than most, and more to the traditional bitter, than sweet.
I Decant any Amarone for at least 6 hours, and this certainly needs it.
Finishes with singing acidity/good tannin integration.

On a ship in the Chilean Fjords; smooth, light tannins, soft mouth feel, nice finish. Plus, I just like amarones.
