Salento Susumaniello

Extremely forward wine, bursting with dried cherry on the onset, but yielding hibiscus, rooibos and black tea on any careful attention. The way it goes from fruity to tea-like is quite interesting, and I think it’s because the fruit comes off as more dried than fresh. Smooth texture though the tannins are there. Great with smoky flavors.

So smooth and delicious. Not too dry or sweet.

This is delicious, full, rich, lingering berries, & great on the nose!!
