Made Zuni roast chicken with bread salad, so I felt it was only appropriate to bring this one out for the occasion. Complex fruit profile on the nose - lemon, apple, melon, pineapple, ginger - plus white flowers, with oak contributing a balanced bit of coconut and cream. Creamy mouthfeel with great acid on the back end- fresh and bright yet complex. I’d prefer a slight dialing back of the oak on this wine but that’s really just a matter of taste - this is a super well-made wine.

Can’t rate. Maybe the wine is in a weird spot or my palate was affected by the 4 sessions of snow shoveling, but if I had a blindfold on I would have thought this was a red. Somewhat restrained on the palate with lots of steel elements and some earth. Color was great, as was the cork, so must be me. Usually one of my favorites!

Pear & peach tart notes, with slight aromas of sugar cookie and Creme brûlée yet still fresh w/ tons of minerality to balance the creaminess
