Needed to open up, but when it did, smooth and light. Subtle fruit, almost a note of cranberry. Enjoyable with our Italian dinner!

Medium bodied. Big tannins. Layered. Give it time to open otherwise the first sip will make you pucker.

This was not tasty. There was a punch of dark fruit and a tight bitterness to it. (Makes me think this was just a bad bottle.)
