Punta di Villa Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend

Garnet coloration. On the nose, amarena cherry, plum, vanilla, sweet toasted oak and forest floor. On the palate, same notes as on the nose, with a long plum and sweet toasted oak finish. Big, bold, full bodied and lush. Great amarone.

Not a huge fan of the style, but this was executed well. “Port lite.” Paired very well with roasted pork.
