Montes Alpha Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Good wine. Relative lack of acid has an unbalancing effect on the wine. It makes the alcohol stand out somewhat. Still enjoyable though:)

Heavy tannins, full bodied wine. Oaky, with black currants and black berries. Eventually mellowed. Not a bad wine. Paired well with a roast.

Well blended flavors ! A lovely wine.

The wine was a Cabernet Sauvignon and was superb!!! Black cherry aroma and silky smooth!!

Recommendation from the wine shop. Cork was a little dry, but lovely and smooth tannins with a slightly peppery finish.

Enjoyed in San Miguel, vanilla with good structure.
