Montes
Montes Alpha Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Colchagua Valley, Rapel Valley, Central Valley, Chile
Good wine. Relative lack of acid has an unbalancing effect on the wine. It makes the alcohol stand out somewhat. Still enjoyable though:)

Apr 29th, 2017Heavy tannins, full bodied wine. Oaky, with black currants and black berries. Eventually mellowed. Not a bad wine. Paired well with a roast.

Recommendation from the wine shop. Cork was a little dry, but lovely and smooth tannins with a slightly peppery finish.
