Almost perfect. Mushrooms. Wet Mohair. Sea salt. Hint of prunes & dark spice. Vanilla skin.

Good to taste a Penfolds red with minimal oak influence.

Clove, brown sugar, and dark fruit.

Tasty. As expected. Got lots of life left in it.

Full, rich and concentrated. Crisp acid and textured tannins with a huge berry finish. $68 / 93pts

Medium deep crimson. Seductive with black fruits and spice. Beautifully balanced, fresh with silky smooth richness. A very attractive medium-bodied shiraz.

Visual: rojo violeta intenso

Nariz: ciruela y otras frutas oscuras, especies, tabaco, humo

Boca: poderoso, fruta madura, taninos M+ ya domados, acidez mediana, alcohol M+. Buen balance. Bueno para BBQ.

Excellent aspects such as firm tannins and length. Would have preferred a fuller body.

This still has a lot of room to age.
