Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark fruit, clove, dried herbs, leather, oak.

The resemblance to Silver Oak on the nose is uncanny. The new America oak is unmistakable!

Just a solid stable Napa cab.

Big on the nose, long finish, very good, but not as good as past vintages

Cassis, black currant, leather and cigar box. Very good for being so young.

6/23 This was everything a California Napa Valley cab should be. The 2012 vintage is excellent. This was an extremely well balanced wine. Not two fruit forward but also did not lay back. Had all sorts of interesting layers. High marks 90.

Chocolate covered cherries in a wood box. Too bad a glass of it ended up on the carpet.

Big , lots of time to go

A definite 9.0+. Drank very well. Great body and flavor. 12/17
