Beautiful wine. Almost as good as the 1978 Rocche dei Manzoni Riserva Barolo. The Produttori has known what they are doing for a long, long time!!

xmas eve. Really nice bottle. Medium brown / crimson hue. Was firing right out of the bottle. Double decanted for 6hrs and served with ny strip roast and it only got better. Tar, autumn leaves, ash. And a slightly syrupy caramel note that gave a bass (but not roasted) note.
