These 2016’s are so good and already very approachable, which I didn’t expect. See my Montestefano post of 15 weeks ago. I liked the Montestefano more but this is more a personal preference

Black licorice, cherry, garrigue. Elegant tannins with long finish. Delicious and wish I had more. Perfect with smoked pork pappardelle.
