Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2012 Rosado pours pink/salmon color with medium viscosity and no signs of sediment or particles. On the nose, the wine is developing with Maraschino cherry, dried apricot, coconut, dill, vanilla, and walnut. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Brilliant, soulful stuff. My first experience with the 2012 vintage. I hope there are many more to come. Drink now with patience (maybe even a decant) and through 2037.

Dried cherry and rose, steel and rust. Quite intense and focused. Spicy notes. Good acidity and length. A hint of oak. Dry. Very good and unique

All kinds of stuff going on from fresh berries to oxidative sherry notes to orange peel, nuts, hibiscus…just one of the world’s great roses. Highly savory and perfect for the winter table

Thick and sticky, salty and sour.

Caramel and red apple skin and rose petals. Roasted hazelnuts, a winey wine.

Needs some air to open, shed a bit of sour angularity. When it does, the perfume hits, and it's on.

This is a “fly your freak flag” wine. All the shit that your parents told you not to do, this wine does. Oxidation, VA! Use weird combinations of grapes. Be yourself!
