A very pleasant escape from the new style fruit bomb Syrah based pinots that have overwhelmed the market. A hint of smoke balances nicely with red fruit. Some mineral undertones. Yeah, even a touch of chocolate in there. It continues to open up. Not just a good NY Pinot noir but simply a fine Pinot all around. I dig it.
