Rhys speaks for itself, even the appellation blends are on another level. 2013 is a knockout year and the goodness shows throughout the vineyard lineup. Just awesome.

Sadly this wine has never lost its overwhelming new oak. As the fruit recedes, which was delicate and lively, it's just really really okay tasting. It's not dead, but the balance is off. I think there is just too much new oak in most of the Rhys from this era. My partner liked it more. She loves the taste of oak.
