Now 16 years old and 3 years since the last bottle, the fruit is turning earthy. After decanting it opens up with caramelized layers of dark berry, bramble, cocoa…. Tannins resolved. It was perfect tonight.

The fruit is still fresh and dense. It's definitely more approachable than the same bottle a few years ago. And I'll wait a few for the next... 3 to go.
