Resolved tannins, and well balanced. However the fruit was just too over the top for me. Think blackberry shake.

I love this wine in other vintages. This one trends towards plum and a bitter herb streak not uncommon to 2011 for me

Ripe black cherry, black pepper, black currant. The texture is amazing - all-enveloping and velvety.
