Smells like a bold cab. And tastes about the same. Quite nice. Will see what it tastes like in 30 minutes..

The one that started it all; I feel this wine is so underrated and sometimes even gets a bad rap due the commercial direction the brand has taken. All that aside, I truly believe the wine is worth every cent. The color is a nice deep ruby. The nose has deep bright cherry notes. The pallet is complex with tobacco, plum, leather and earth; a round mouthfeel and a proper finish. The winery may have taken a commercial direction but the vines remain the same and one can taste the Napa soul on every sip.
