Private Selection Aged in Bourbon Barrels Monterey County Cabernet Sauvignon

For my less developed palate compared to many here, I still enjoyed the way the bourbon barrel aging complimented the boldness of the Cabernet.

8/2020. For the price point, a good week night cab. Medium bodied with good flavor.

Our favorite go to red wine.

I could at first taste cherry on the tongue. As I finished I got a nice Smokey flavor with a hint of bourbon. Not a cab sav guy but I would gladly try this again.

Love this. Tons of flavour. Vanilla, brown sugar, toasted oak. Pairs well with food but also great on its own.
