Lush black fruits with cedar, vanilla, tobacco leaf, and allspice, laced with graphite minerality. A bit tight and green on the palate, probably due to insufficient aerating time, but the tension, acidity, texture are in harmony. Silky tannins firmed up a bit at the end.
This will be great in 5 years!

pure Napa joy. This has some legendary MacDonald To Kalon fruit in it (5-20%).

Dec 9th, 2020I am not big on Mondavi fan but this is a great vintage, smooth finish with medium to heavy body, not butter but very close.
