Strong dark fruit, with earth and wood. Approachable tannins. An interesting wine with some complexity, but a bit too earthy for me, which is a matter of personal taste.

Gorgeous nose of crushed black fruits, wet stone and herbs that keeps developing into fig and dark chocolate. Lively with integrated tannins. Restrained and well balanced. Lovely wine from a region I love.

Love this wine. It is spicy and bold. It needs a little breathing time but it's worth it. The nose reminds me of fall mornings, those dewy overcast days. Totally worth a try.

June 2016. Tucson. A bit more age and this wine could be awesome.
