Damp basement nose…clunkiest mess ever (and heaviest bottle) but I suppose since it was 2008 in Germany the wine isn’t THAT bad. It’s 13.5% but it feels like they would have made a 16% Pinot if they could have. The acid is there tho, I’d happily try some of their newer wines. Opened an Irancy next to it for fun to resuscitate my palate
