Blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec, aged in 40% new French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with notes of herbs, pepper spice, hints of vanilla and earthy notes. Fine sweet tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well, but time will reward!

Sourced from the home Silverado vineyard in Stags Leap and Mt George vineyard in Coombsville, this is a young and energetic Bordeaux blend with 88% Cab.
Nose shows ripe black fruits, cedar, subtle baking spices, and hint of graphite. Full body with fresh acidity. The fruits are a bit angular on the palate with fine tannins. Needs a bit more time to polish up. Good value for an estate bottling.
