Enjoyable, as many entry-level '11s are. Lots of alcohol, but not overwrought or pruney. Drying tannins keep everything in balance. Aged in barrique, apparently, but I don't think that a significant portion is new. Certainly doesn't taste that way. Haven't had S. Grasso in a while, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Unbelievable ! A solid nose full of aromas. An intense flavor, greedy, full of power and creaminess. Notes of tobacco, spices. Almost perfect. A tannin length a little deeper and it's perfect!
