Very dark Pinot. Some tart cherries and strawberries, but palette dominated by organic earth like dirt, wet wood, wet tobacco. Medium acid, more oak than I expected for a Pinot.

Restoring my faith in Oregon Pinot after a few duds. A hint of brown in the fairly deep colour, a whiff of smoke on the nose, lots of fruit and mineral on the palate. Decently long finish keeps the fruit love alive.
