Wow....even better than the 73 Martha's! I keep saying the 70's were a magical time in the Valley and not just 74, 78 which were tad ripe and now mostly over the hill. These off vintages are more structured and just drinking incredibly well even now! Primary fruit with no pruning and round balance tannins and acids. This 77 Lot 2 was just a incredibly experience :))

wow wine of a wine filled evening. BDX in its build. nothing like modern NV, excepting Cathy of course. as near to ethereal as Cali Cab can be. note to contemporary producers, use the 70's as you benchmark, not the 90's, please.
