This is still a great wine for the money. Tannins abound, slight dark fruit component, earth centric.

This bottle maybe be crying one solitary tear, but I cheer for depth of berry body and the complex velvet mouthfeel. Tip tip, hooray!

Manicotti pasta dinner, definitely just asking for a red wine

v15. Don’t know why I still had this, but I’m glad I did. Toasted barrel and hand crushed fruit nose. Fresh, rich, dark, blackberry and blueberry fruit. Long, dry, pleasantly chewy, chocolate and black pepper finish. So good!

I’m quite fond of this wine. New age dArk fruits with some faint raisin up front , jammy, nice blend of subdued tannins and acid. Good value for $38 and solid substitute for a cab. Served with a pork loin an fixings.
