Strong and rich on the nose. Needed some time to open up and let the alcohol dance itself out to expose the ripe flavors of Bacchus. Ends spicy and dry apropos for a rigatoni alla puttanesca. Not worth the price tag.

Dark ruby color, blackberry and light spice notes to chocolate and vanilla. Very smooth presentation throughout. Light chalk and tobacco notes at the very end.
