This whisky, a 23 year from the Strathclyde distillery in Gorbals, Glasgow is so beautiful and has so much character despite its lack of ex-[fill-in-the-blank] cask finishing, it'll make you wonder why this stuff is usually reserved for blends, with no official bottling produced. The whisky is giving and candy like, with notes of bubblegum, violets, and heather joining some honeyed unripe orchard fruits. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Unique.
