Tamarack Cellars
Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc
Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USA
Really tasty and satisfying as a big red, but it was curiously hard to pin down as cab franc. Tasted like there's some petit verdot in there. Still, it was delicious.

Nov 1st, 2014Gift from the hubs...amazing bold cab franc! Blackberries and figs and bell pepper with a hint of cocoa. Mmm great tannin and balance

Harsh when you open her but then it calms down to something more manageable. Heavy black licorice and anise. Crisp finish and delightful. Low acid but high in flavor
