A simple, rather well made Chardonnay from high altitude vineyards of valle de uco in Mendoza, Argentina. A tiny touch of butter, lemon juice, a tiny flinty thing. This is textbook chardonnay on the nose. The palate is rather fresh and shows a great acid drive. Nice citrusy and buttery touches all around. Good width and some matter. A bit of grip in the rear before a moderately long finish with the same notes and a tiny bitter, oaky touch in the very end. Well made, delivering immediate pleasure, this is a no-nonsense chardonnay which will please connoisseurs and casual wine drinkers.
