The fitting of our new kitchen after 13 months without called for some #BigJuice to celebrate. Hence my opening this can of the 2019 ‘Chenin No 5’ from The Liberator, a winemaker with a degree of mystery and intrigue who produce limited runs of different wines as each vintage goes by. I can’t recall when - or why - I bought this can, but it provided an amicable late-evening partnership with a hastily prepared gnocchi after putting our baby to bed.
Certainly can’t complain - this wasn’t bad at all. And, heck, is it good to have a kitchen again!
