I never rate friends wines so take the 9.0 as a place holder score but.. very pretty. Seamless. Not about absolute power, more (and god I hate the term) old school style. Delicious now but my other 2 will not be opened for a while.

+1hour decant(decent sediment). A wondrous deep purplish magenta color. On the nose: expressive perfumed notes of blackberry, dark plum, eucalyptus, herbaceous, cigar box, dark chocolate. Taste: silky, opulent, structured teeth staining wine with dark cherry/blackberry, loamy soil, dark chocolate, and long minerally cedar finish. YUM!! 1st vintage and aging nicely...from the famed To Kalon vineyard and made by Andy Erickson.

Aging gracefully and will continue to do so. Black fruits, blueberry, blackberry, plum, vanilla, linearity and precision with a plush silky mouthfeel that completely coats the palate.

Oct 27th, 2024Fruit aromas jump out of the glass, silky texture, blueberry, well integrated oak. This one needs to wait a little longer as it’s still a little tight. Will try to wait a few years for the next bottle.
