Pretty good Syrah. A bit harsh, but mellowing out with time. Torbreck has a good reputation, so there are more wines to be tried.

Wow! Punches way over $20! Bold Northern Rhône notes of smoked meats, creosote, tar, strawberry rhubarb pie, and some blackberry liqueur. Is Run Rig used in this?

Reviewed this back home. Saw it at Costco for under $16. $25 Australian at this winery. Such a steal at Costco. Might be the 14 at Costco and not the 15. It got bright blue fruits and mixed berries with just a bit more warmth and spice than "The Steading".
