A good hour decant did wonders. Really opened up aromatically to reveal its previous shy self. Dark raspberries, strawberries, mint/herbal notes superimposed over some earthy notes and nicely framed by soft tannin to add mouth coating structure. Perfect complement to tonight’s beef tartare and bolognese pasta.

Phenomenal gravelly tannins, very long, bummer that it was a little corked, finished the bottle anyways, it washed down lamb admirably.
