not sure what a “classic” wine profile is but this is probably it lmao.
Fresh fruits but spicy at the same time.
Well balanced! — a month ago
I guess this one was a blend of muscat and a lil bit of local honey.
Notes were mostly citrus/tropical fruit with what I thought was a good amount of acid to make it feel lively. That zippyness didn’t linger too long and it was followed with a mild honeyed note that kinda toned it all back down. Is that what balanced kinda feels like?
In general, I thought it was pleasant to drink and was better than what I was expecting but I didn’t really know what to expect especially because I didn’t know what the honey was gonna do. It’s nothing too crazy imo but I would for sure drink it again! — a month ago
Grenache noir from france
Immediate strawberry and watermelon jolly rancher. Good acid. Has a slight saline finish. Very very chuggable. — 15 days ago
Honeyed citrus/tropical fruits backed with sea salt! Floral quality. Great stuffs! Not convinced that the 2023 vintage is the best representation of this cuvée cos I’m a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I served too cold but I don’t think it’s too cold idk. — 19 days ago
Awesome stuff. Oxidative notes, stone fruit skins, on first contact. Basically some kind of fruity bitterness/nuttiness to start. Backed by tropical notes of pineapple and good citrus! Fun amount of acid it give it energy!! Just a really good drink. — 2 months ago
Blend of Pinot Blanc, sylvaner, riesling, muscat, gewurtz.
Strong minerality backed by mild citrus/tropics on the nose and palate. Thought it was cool, but I think my palate was fucked cos of the zankou chicken I ate.
Sorta refreshing. — 17 days ago
Bright and juicy strawbs and tart red berries. Smooth and balanced. Rippable as hell — a month ago
Super super super reductive on the nose and that initial taste. A little backed by green apple and some general brightness and decent acid. But overall just very reductive and mineral forward, at least for my palate. I know ppl are into these types of profiles but it’s not my thing rn. — a month ago
Tasted like Mexican candies!!! Very cool! — 2 months ago
Bien B
Chardonnay
Salty, nutty, then followed by pears and pineapples. Enough citrus/acid to lift it. Very cool to get a Chardonnay that has no buttery notes because I usually avoid Chardonnay because of that note. — 15 days ago
