Very balanced and smooth fruit forward for an Italian. Not overly strong but opens slightly with air. Hints of pepper and spice. Raspberry flavors. Medium plus tannins worked well with bistecca. — 8 years ago
Possibly one of the finest wines I've tasted. Bold statement but this crushed a Sassacaia I had a week ago. Decanted about an hour and got mouthfuls of red berry, vanilla, leather, and silk. In 5 years...wow! — 9 years ago
Very pleasant Muscadet. Nice high acidity and fruit balance. Excellent shellfish and seafood wine. Cheese plate. Green apple and mineral. Dry as a bone. — 7 years ago

Huge with white pepper and spicy fruit. Leather and anisette. Smoothed out over an hour and turned into a big wine I would pair with a spicy hearty meal. — 8 years ago
Apricots and honey on a complex nose with stone fruit, nuts, botrytis, petrol and astringency on the taste. Unusual but interesting wine with years to go. Decanted for an hour. — 9 years ago
I don’t know why but this one blew me away. Love St Rita Hills Pinot and this didn’t disappoint. Very balanced with long finish. Still young and should wait a while for it to mature but big burst of red fruit now. — 7 years ago
Stunning and open for such a young wine. Beautiful berries with leather and complexity. — 8 years ago
Incredible potential with beautiful balance. Black fruit with a spot of white pepper. Nice oak of leather and cigar ash. Not ready yet but will try it in 5 years and probably be blown away. Decanted for 90 minutes and still tight. — 9 years ago
