Clean medium intensity with aromas of watermelon strawberries gooseberry and pear. On the palate dry, smooth, with medium flavor intensity and medium body and medium to low acidity. This is a great example of using lees in the winemaking process as it has a creamy biscuity mouthfeel without tasting oaky or buttery and present flavors of green fruits. Nose is clean with medium intensity with notes of honeysuckle oaky notes vanilla bread and butterscotch. The palate is dry, smooth and full bodied with pronounced flavor. The buttery and oak notes are predominant here with subtle fruit notes. The wine has a long finish and is the quintessential old white lady chardonnay.
