Update: opened up another bottle 20 days later in a different setting, and paired with a different meal: my positive opinion was reinforced. Pleasant aromas with some complexity. Medium plus boldness. Just enough tannins and acidity. Overall excellent at the $15 price point from Vons. Although I like to try new wines, I will stock up as a definite crowd pleaser. — 6 years ago
