Second favorite wine this evening. — 19 days ago
As a Champagne lover, I tried this on a friend's recommendation. I’m not sure how he took it, but I described the wine as 'fun'—honestly, it’s the kind of pour that would give even a seasoned professional a hard time in a blind tasting. Since it's labeled Blanc de Blancs, I naturally assumed Chardonnay. My bad for trying to be smart; it turns out it’s Muscat, not the traditional varietal. While it's not quite my speed, I will absolutely be taking this to my next event just to play with everyone’s perception of sparkling wine. — a month ago

Wine dinner in LA. Best wine of the evening. — 19 days ago
One of the weakest Opus expressions I’ve tasted to date. This specific release (2017/2018 blend) was a major letdown. While Opus usually never misses for me, this was disjointed: aggressive tannins, sharp acidity, and surprisingly bland fruit. The nose was off as well. The bottle itself wasn’t flawed or corked—the wine just simply lacked the balance and polish I expect from this producer. — a month ago

An acquired taste that I have not acquired yet. Herbaceous and acidic. Not my jam but it opened my eyes to different Italian styles. — 19 days ago
