Lovely nice blend of two worlds. I was presently surprised by this wine. Good all around for the price. Can’t go wrong. The cab mellows the harsh tannins of the Shiraz. Rubber and earthy nose and is smooth and velvety on the palate. I find some hits of blackberry on the finish. — 5 years ago

I’m happy with this wine. I typically look to Australia for Shiraz but I have to say the Yellow-Tail cab-sauv is nice vibrant, velvety, and smooth yet a bit acidic. Tart blackcurrant berries and spicy, coffee? The finish is BlackBerry, and long. I enjoyed this wine. Will do it again. — 6 years ago

Very smooth, not over powering. Has a nose of Melons and light fruits . Peppery. almost got a sparkling to it. Velvety finish.

Smashing! Love the dry fruityness of this blend. They claim a vanilla finish but I don't perceived it. I do get jammy black fruits. Tart cherry. Either way great wine for the price. — 5 years ago

Well it’s an ok wine for a VQA Niagara wine. You know I don’t give enough props to my neighborhood wine makers. I would keep it on hand and share with just ok friends... just kidding it’s a good wine. Not a Great wine, haha, but decent. Alone was a bit sharp. But with food, salty Italian food, with olive oil, it’s fruity, darker berry complexity. On thé palette it’s jammy with black berry or black current. The finish is tart and flavourful, hits the back of the tongue. I like it. — 5 years ago

Naked: Smooth and not as dry as others from this region. Nose has a hint tabaco, finish is jammy black currant and blackberry.
Paired with steak: here the tannins are more pronounced. The wine is sweeter with food. Makes that berry taste pop. Again not as dry as others from this region. This wine cleanses the palate very well — 5 years ago

Wow this was a rich Cab-Sauv with a strong start of BlackBerry, and tart black current overtones with a hint of tobacco and coffee... the finish leaves lingering velvety undertones of mocha. I enjoyed this so much I did the whole bottle... — 6 years ago
