This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Golden color, medium body. Aromas on the nose were overpowered by the alcohol. Earthy notes and pineapple came through. On the palate, a little creaminess and more pineapple, good acid but too much alcohol burn. — 10 years ago
