Good. Goes nicely with Armenian Manti. It is a semi sweet wine but not so aggressive. Comes across like an undersweetened young port or the biggest and heaviest zin you can find. Not my favorite but it tastes good with the food. — a month ago
Deep ruby color thats a lot lighter around the edges giving it the look I feel that pinot noir was meant to describe but just doesn't on a modern example. Aroma is tobacco and bay leaf, just dry herby/earthy plant matter. Hint of cranberry letting you know it's fruit derived. Flavor definitely has that strong unsweetened cranberry flavor and tea leaves that leads to the most bone dry finish I have ever had in a wine. I didn’t love it at first, but liked it after it opened up a bit. The wine has a slight acidity but this is definitely mouth puckering bone dry wine. Really went nicely with chicken shawarma. On its own its probably rough, with food, excellent. — 8 days ago
Very pale white color. Aroma is quite slate-y/flint-y evoking a better balanced sauv blanc for Marlborough. Loads of floral notes and citrus blossom all finishing lemony. Fair bit more body than the aroma suggests. Like a very light chard slapped with all the aromatics of a sauv blanc. Nice refreshing acidic finished that cut through the heavy spice note of the chicken gyro and masterfully balanced with the tzaztiki. — 22 days ago
