Although it’s a nice wine, it doesn’t taste like a Santa Lucia Pinot, which are generally light and more delicate. This is big and bold and in a blind tasting, not sure I’d guess Pinot. If you like big wines, you’ll enjoy it.

This is a red blend with all the Bordeaux varieties except Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s nicely balanced and goes with lots of foods. I love the fruit, it’s prominent but not jammy, smooth tannins, really good! And a portion of proceeds go to elephant rescue, a great cause. Found it at Whole Foods. — 7 years ago
