I am tasting a Burgundy White Chardonnay from Franc with a vintage of 2022. This bottle was selected for in class activities regarding wine from France. I have not tried this specific product before, but have tried other Chardonnays. I was pleasantly surprised as typically I do not prefer Chardonnay. This bottle has a light golden amber appearance. The taste is very dry, on the stone/tree fruit grouping with hints of apple peach and pear. This tasting expanded my palate by showing me that better quality tastes better. I thought this beverage was good. — 14 days ago

I am drinking a Bordeaux Red Cabernet Sauvignon with a vintage of 2021. This bottle was selected for an in class activity regarding France. I have tried different Cabernet Sauvignons before and it is my favorite type of red, so I was expecting to enjoy the taste. It it a dark garnet color with oaky earth and dark fruit flavors. This tells me that it was fermented using oak barrels typical for this varietal. This wine is very good to me. — 14 days ago
